Non existent eggs
November last year my husband had a very successful operation getting his tubes untied and we have been trying to have a baby since with no luck. I never thought that it would be so hard, I just figured that when I decided to have a baby the universe would provide! I even started 4 weekly prenatal yoga classes and 2 mums and bubs classes as good karma seeds in the pursuit, hoping it would help
After every month of anticipation to find no success I decided to have a laproscopy, a simple key hole operation to make sure all my tubes were clear and everything functioned normally. When I got the results that I was perfectly healthy I was almost upset as I was hoping to find a problem so I could fix it and get on with it.
After my third blood test on Saturday the specialist has confirmed that I don’t ovulate meaning I still get my period every month but my body doesn’t release any eggs? So I have now started my fertility treatment which increases my fertility 5x which does havey the risk of multiple births….
The specialist said if I haven’t caught by Christmas I may want to consider IVF, fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that and these hormones are enough! It makes me wonder though if its right to be playing with fate? If I can’t fall pregnant naturally am I meant to have a baby? Does the universe have another plan for me?

Hi Michelle, my heart goes out to you, and can sympathise with this questioning about playing with fatea good friend of mine is having the same fertility treatment…though one way to think about it might be that humans are incredibly creative and find ways around situations all the time. This is just one of these situations

Wow this is a great resource.. I’m enjoying it.. good article
I think you would make a wonderful Mum and can see that in your future. I don’t see it as playing with fate but more so, just opening a few extra doors of opportunity. At the end of the day, what will be will be, but if you can do your part to assist with a positive outcome, why not? I hope to see your beautiful face soon sunshine.
Michelle, I think if your hearts desire to conceive is so strong it will happen – you will make a beautiful Mum & as the mother of a 1 yr old boy I strongly recommend it as something to pursue – it is an amazing experience! I say do whatever it takes as the end result is so precious – sometimes the journey is a little harder & longer & there might be a lesson to learn along the way but don’t give up if its something you really want. xo
A word of encouragement from another who has travelled your road…. I thank God every morning for his blessing (our little son) and know that his (God’s) hand is in everything, including whether or not assisted reproduction is successful. ‘Fate’ (or God’s plan, depending on your personal beliefs) will eventuate irrespective of our human attempts to intervene.
You sound like a strong woman.
nice post,bookmark it now,thanks for share!good night!
Hello gorgeous,
I was actually wondering if you guys were planning a bub. Such a beautiful journey & I am sure it will happen for you both – like you say, it’s a timing thing. For some reason the universe is needing you to wait, it will happen and when it does it will be wonderful x x x

Hi Michelle,
I am a friend of Laura Humphreys from the UK and I like to keep an eye on this website not only to check in on how my little sweet pea Laura is doing but also because it is a great website!
I just read this post and had to write something. I am so sorry to hear you are struggling and I am sending you lots of lovely thoughts. Just think, if the universe didn’t want people to try for babies then it wouldn’t have helped man to invent treatments such as IVF. It is just a challenge that will only make you stronger!! And with your karma and determination you will make it.
In the mean time I look forward to a good news post on here…all in good time of course ;o)
Love Charlotte
