I have been blessed by having yoga as a part of my life for over ten years. During this time I have been open to a variety of influences beginning with Iyengar, followed by Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Whatever the style of yoga, I have found the benefits for mind, body and soul immeasurable. I choose to teach vinyasa as I love the flow and smooth, fluid rhythm which translates so well to life. Teaching vinyasa also means I get to express my joy in music by creating class playlists which are fun and inspirational.

Outside of yoga my life has taken me on many different paths. I have studied Naturopathy and achieved bachelor degrees in Exercise Science and Education. I have worked in health care and taught Chemistry and Physical Education in secondary schools. This seemingly diverse background began to converge in January 2009 when I was fortunate enough to complete my first teacher training with Michelle at Essence of Living. I finally found the perfect outlet for my passion for teaching and maintaining balance and health. My journey has continued with a further intensive teacher training with Radiantly Alive in Bali and Thai massage training in Thailand. Clearly I believe life, and yoga is a journey not a destination, I cherish the opportunity to share this journey with others.
